As a leader in the field, Community Living Hamilton offers support to over 1100 individuals who have an intellectual disability and their families including residential and day supports, assistance with employment, community supports, school to work transitions and respite care (children/adult).

Staff Duties are varied and may include:
- Provision of assistance to individuals with daily living as required including, but not limited to personal care (e.g. lifting and transferring, personal hygiene), meal preparation and nutrition, budgeting, housekeeping, laundry, shopping etc.
- Implementation of supports to individuals to achieve personal goals as established through person centred plans and individual support agreements
- Support for each individual to develop skills and assume roles which promote their effective participation in the typical and valued life of their community
- Maintenance of confidential information for each individual
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in a related field (Developmental Service Worker, Social Service Worker) with directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Ontario Driver's license
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
- Non Violent Crisis Intervention certificate
- Ability to report to work on a regular basis
