Transitional Employment Program

With the support of a Community Placement Specialist, the individual will develop an action plan identifying vocational interests, abilities, goals, and the supports required to ensure success. The Community Placement Specialist assists the individual in securing and maintaining work experience and/or volunteer opportunities within their community.


We Provide
• Individualized Support Planning (I.S.P.)
• Remediation and vocational life skills training
• Travel, route and mobility training
• Practical skills assessments
• Work experience and volunteer opportunities
• Assistance in securing community placement
• Site-specific training and skills development
• Support coordination
• Follow-up and consultation services
• Information and linkage to other community resources

What You Receive

• Job readiness instruction (group or individualized)
• Identify career goals
• Resume development
• Interview preparedness
• Placement services
• On-site job coaching and skills training
• Travel, route and mobility training
